Braden Liggett vs. Ben Meese
Honor Fighting Championship 3 is set to go down on March 31 at Chapparell’s Community Center in Akron, Ohio, and an amateur welterweight bout is set for the event.
Liggett earned a title shot by topping Dornes “KO” Butler via unanimous decision, building off of his win over Roy Nichols at Honor Fighting Championship 1 in October. The 21-year-old made his debut less than five months ago and has already reeled off four wins, and he’s already ranked as the No. 4 amateur welterweight in Ohio by Tapology.
Meese also picked up a win at Honor FC 2 last month, as he topped Khristian Suthers via first round TKO. After the win – his third via first round TKO – he called for a title shot, and he got his wish.
