Weekend Preview

Weekend Preview

It seems like the weekends are rare now that we see more than a couple of events going on in our coverage area, but this weekend is the exception, as the Ohio Valley will see four events go down in four different states. Here’s a quick breakdown of each:

Colosseum Combat XLIX

The B2 Fighting Series returns to Kokomo, Indiana, as Colosseum Combat XLIX goes down. Sean Fallon (9-6) will be making his second straight appearance for Mark Slater as he meets Daniel Head (13-13) in the main event.

The full fight card features ten fights, including pros Dustin Parrish (7-3-1) vs. Zach Edington (3-2) in the co-main event.

A few tickets are available for the event, but if you can’t make it you can stream it via LiveSportscaster.com.

Bayfront Brawl 7

Matchmaker Nichole Castillo once again teams up with promoter Erie Bizzarro for an event in Erie, as Bayfront Brawl 7 features four pro bouts, three amateur title fights, and 13 total fights (full lineup here).

The main event features Jeremiah Yeager (5-8) vs. Izzy William (1-2) in a pro lightweight attraction, but the rest of the card features notables like Logan Urban (1-1), Nikolai Gionti (1-1), and Trenton Zdarko (0-0) making his pro debut after a 5-2 amateur run.

There’s no stream for this one so if you want to see the fights you’ll have to get there live.

Valor Fighting Challenge 59

The Tennessee promotion heads to the home of the Tennessee Smokies, as Valor FC 59: Fight Night at Smokies Stadium will be an outdoor event.

The main event features David Robins (3-0) taking on James Conway (3-3) in a pro welterweight fight. A total of ten pro bouts are on tap, including a co-main event featuring Olivia Parker (1-0) vs. Taryn Conklin (0-0). Check out the full lineup here.

The event streams live on FloCombat beginning at 6pm ET.

Premier MMA Championship 12

Perry Stargel (0-0) makes his pro debut against the very tough Irvin Jones (3-0) as Premier MMA Championship 12 goes down in Northern Kentucky.

That’s the only pro bout on the card, but two amateur titles will also be up for grabs: Feraris Golden (4-3) vs. Rayvon Baxter (7-1) at welterweight, and Cole Sutton (3-0) vs. Ryan Santana (4-2) at featherweight.

The event streams live via FITE TV and features a dozen total bouts.
