Victory Fighting Championship comes to Indiana for VFC 60
Alliance MMA owned Victory Fighting Champion (VFC) comes to the Ohio Valley region for the first time. The promotion will host VFC 60 at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana on Saturday, April 14, 2018.
The Nebraska-based promotion will be working with fellow Alliance MMA owned Hoosier Fight Club (HFC) for the upcoming event. Paul and Danielle Vale of Hoosier Fight Club shared the news earlier today that they will be helping with the all-professional card.
“…we are excited to partner with Victory Fighting Championship – VFC and Ryan Stoddard to bring a huge ALL PRO card.”
In addition to the two promotions working together, this event will also mark the 2018 debut of Victory Fighting Champion on UFC Fight Pass.
Tickets for VFC 60 went on sale today. On fight night, fans can catch the action inside the square cage on UFC Fight Pass starting at 9:00 p.m. ET.
As of now, no fights were announced for the event. However, several fighters are rumored to be competing at the event including Dontale “Kong” Mayes (3-2), Kevin Nowaczyk (15-3), Jose “Chepe” Mariscal (6-3), Enrique Gonzalez (4-1), and John Popi (9-2) to name a few.
Two weeks before VFC 60, Victory Fighting Championship will host VFC Fight Night 2 on Friday, March 30 at Cococ Key in Omaha, Nebraska. In the main event of that show, seasoned veteran Alonzo Martinez (41-19-1) will take on Anthony Baccam (12-5) in a professional lightweight contest.
