Two title bouts have been announced for Honor Fighting Championship 9, which takes place on May 4th in Millersburg, Ohio.

First, Lucas Mast (5-1) and Cameron McIntosh (6-1) will square off for the vacant amateur men’s welterweight title.

Mast has won three fights in a row, and is ranked as the No.2 amateur welterweight in Ohio by Tapology. Most recently, he topped Braden Liggett for a second time in February, winning the welterweight title at Caged Thunder 6. He also won the Honor FC welterweight title by topping Liggett at Honor FC 6 last August. Three of his wins are via stoppage, including two submissions and one knockout.

McIntosh drops down to welterweight for the first time as he looks to claim his first title. The 20-year-old is ranked as the No. 2 amateur middleweight in Ohio, and has four wins via stoppage, including three submissions. Most recently, he topped Dom Johns via submission at Honor FC 6 last August.

Also, Tirzah Gunther (3-0) and Jeslen Mishelle (3-0) will throw down for the vacant amateur women’s welterweight title.

Gunther, the younger sister of UFC fighter John Gunther, looks to keep her perfect record intact. After a submission due to strikes victory over Christina Edwards at Honor FC 5 last year, the Ohio native traveled to Iowa where she took home a decision over Solveigh Skarhus at a King of the Cage event.

Mishelle comes in from California, where she represents Carnage Fight Team. Two of her wins have come via stoppage, and most recently she topped Joy Pendell via decision at Panda Cup 6 in December.
