Route 30 Rumble
Another Ohio-based MMA promotion is set to make its debut next weekend, and the fight card for Signature Combat Sports: Route 30 Rumble features a trio of pro bouts.
In the main event, super heavyweights throw down, as local favorite Kaleb Raymond (1-1) takes on Brad Schott (2-4).
Raymond looks for his second win as a pro, as he dropped a decision against Nick Brashear in his last outing after topping Eddy Faison in his pro debut. He also posted a 7-5 amateur record and made his debut back in 2013. He’s ranked as the No. 4 pro heavyweight in Ohio according to Tapology.
Illinois native Schott normally competes at heavyweight, but he’ll move up a weight class for this one. After winning his pro debut in 2016, he dropped four straight bouts. But he rebounded to pick up his second win with a TKO over Justin Richwine at Iron Tiger 86 in January. He’s ranked as the No. 7 pro heavyweight in Ohio.
Garcia makes his pro debut after a 7-4 amateur run. Six of his amateur wins came via submission, with the exception of his final bout, a TKO over Juan Montalvo to claim the New League Fights light heavyweight title in 2017. He’s ranked as the No. 6 amateur light heavyweight in Ohio.
Fighting out of Wisconsin, the 38-year-old White competes for the first time since 2015.
Allen looks to regain the magic from his pro debut, where h needed just 15 seconds to knock out Dan Randall at CES MMA XXXVI in 2016. Since then, he’s suffered three defeats and had one no contest.
Richwine looks for his first win as a pro after coming up short against Schott in his pro debut. He posted an 8-5 amateur record, including five wins via knockout or TKO. He’s ranked as the No. 6 pro heavyweight in Ohio.
Route 30 Rumble takes place on July 20 at Route 30 Harley Davidson in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
