Pittsburgh’s newest promotion debuted this past weekend, as 247 Fighting Championships presents Steeltown Throwdown went down at Printscape Arena in Canonsburg, PA.

In the main event, Pittsburgh’s own Khama Worthy (13-6) took home the first pro title of his career, topping Nebraska’s Joey Munoz (7-4) to win the lightweight title in the main event. The win was the fourth in a row for Worthy, who is ranked as the No. 1 pro lightweight in Pennsylvania by Tapology.

In the co-main event, Bellator veteran Ethan Goss (5-4) returned from a 16-month layoff to defeat Michigan’s Elijah Cavender (2-4) via submission in their featherweight bout. Goss is now 5-2 in his last seven bouts.

The third pro bout featured Indiana’s Dustin Parrish (7-3-1) topping the returning Brett Shoenfelt (9-8) via TKO at welterweight. The win snapped a two-fight losing streak for Parrish.
