Rivers Rumble MMAiv
Noted boxing promotion Made Men Promotions hosted its first mixed martial arts event in Pittsburgh over the weekend, and multiple fighters with strong ties to the Steel City were in action at Rivers Rumble IX. The outdoor event too place at Rivers Casino on Pittsburgh’s North Shore.
The Academy MMA’s Khama Worthy (11-6) topped veteran Brady Hovermale (11-8) in the main event, as he picked up his second straight victory. The TKO victory was the seventh stoppage via strikes of his career.
Stout Training’s Mike Wilkins (9-4) also picked up his second straight win, topping Erik Vo (15-17) via first round submission in the co-main event.
Other pro winners were Josh Fremd (3-1) and Jonas Rubiano (1-1), while Dalton Rosta (6-0) remained unbeaten to pick up the amateur light heavyweight title. Check out the full results below.
