247 FC: Brawl in the Burgh

247 FC held its second event in the Pittsburgh area on Saturday night, and for the second time, Khama Worthy (14-6) ended the night with a win.

After topping Joey Munoz to win the promotion’s lightweight title in March, “The Death Star” successfully defended the title with a third round knockout win over Adam Ward (16-12) at “Brawl in the Burgh.”

The win was the eighth career knockout for Worthy, who has now won his last five bouts.

In the night’s other pro bout, Pittsburgh native Jonas Rubiano (2-1) earned his second straight win with a second round submission over New York’s Danny Maldonado (0-1).

247 FC returns on November 16 with “Brawl in the Burgh II“.
