Multiple fighters hailing from the Ohio Valley have recently signed with Invicta FC, the all-female promotion run by Shannon Knapp.

Kentucky’s Linda Mihalec (1-0) will make her promotional debut at Invicta FC 37 against Marisa Messer-Belenchia (3-0) on Oct. 4. She trains out of AFC Academy in Richmond, KY alongside the likes of Gina Elliott and Adam Fritz. Mihalec won her pro debut with a victory over Yajaira Cunningham at an event in Hollywood, Florida.

She also had a 5-1 amateur record and is ranked as the No. 2 pound for pound female fighter in Kentucky according to Tapology.

Pennsylvania’s Hope Chase (1-1) also signed a multi-fight deal to begin competing with Invicta FC. She came up short in her pro debut, but bounced back with a win over Morgan Hickam at Valor FC 59 in May. Still just 20 years old, she also had a 4-0 amateur record.

She trains at White Viper Martial Arts alongside her sister Brigid and is ranked as the No. 3 pound for pound female fighter in Pennsylvania.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Serena DeJesus (1-0) now lives in Las Vegas and trains at Syndicate MMA, and she also recently signed a multi-fight deal with Invicta.

Shanna Young (6-2) hails from Tennessee and recently competed in a one-night tournament at Invicta FC: Phoenix Series 2. She topped Maiju Suotama in the first round but lost to eventual tournament winner Miranda Maverick in the semifinals.
