Recap - Midwest Fight Series

Midwest Fight Series

Midwest Fight Series returns to 8 Seconds Saloon in Indianapolis, Indiana. The promotion finally released their fight card for the event that takes place tomorrow night. The all-amateur fight card currently has 10 fights scheduled to take place.

Headlining the event is a title fight between undefeated James Bubb (8-0) and Anthony Klinker (6-12). Bubb will be defending his lightweight title for the first time since he captured the belt last January. Coming up through the ranks, Bubb has annihilated all of his opponents. Having never gone the distance don’t expect this bout with Klinker to be any different.

After snapping a six-fight losing streak, Klinker picked up his first win in nearly four years. With the win this past March he was presented with the opportunity to meet Bubb for the title. This would be the first time he has a chance to win gold.

Scheduled to compete in the co-main event is a matchup between middleweights Aaron Highbaugh (3-2) and Michael Kernodle Jr. (2-2). Each of them is looking for some redemption as both are coming off decision losses. One of these two athletes will walk out of 8 Seconds Saloon back in the win column. Take a look at the rest of the fight card down below:
