Kentucky’s Linda Mihalec is set to make her professional debut. The AFS Academy/ 10th Planet Richmond atomweight puts a sunset on her amateur career and will head to Florida later this month.
Mihalec was dominant in her tenure as an amateur. Linda leaves behind a five fight win streak that included titles for Warrior FC and Arena Wars. She fought for HRMMA, Hoosier Fight Club and V3Fights as well. The only blemish to her record was a controversial stoppage that was tagged as illegal elbows in her amateur debut. Mihalec won her last fight in July 2018 with a first round submission.
Linda will debut at Fight Games on July 19th. Her opponent will be 1-0 professional Yajaira Cunningham of Florida. Cunningham won her professional debut last September with a first round submission of her own. She went 2-2 as an amateur.
This fight takes place at the Seminole Hard Rock Event Center in Hollywood Florida and is being promoted as a combination of fights and E-sports. Stay close to BluegrasssMMA for more on this event.
