Pinnacle Combat returns this Saturday to the McGrath Dubuque Harley Davidson in Dubuque, IA for Pinnacle Combat 31. The night is set to have nine amateur fights and three professional bouts including the main event between flyweights Nate Williams and Jeff Jepsen. This will be the first event as a B2Digital Fight Group in the B2 Fighting Series.
This will be a Pinnacle Combat rematch as the two met on October 13th of last year. Williams won due to injury. Jepsen bounced back with a win at Pinnacle Combat 30 with a second round submission over Earnest Walls. Williams hasn’t fought since getting the win over Jepsen last year.
At 5-1, Jepsen will once again return to the fight with a considerable disadvantage in the experience column. However the injury is the only mark against his record. Williams has 40 professional fights on his resume and has won two out of his three outings. It should be a fun one to watch with the flyweight title on the line.
The professional card will feature two more fights with Jeremy Castro vs. Trent Wilkins as well as Keegan Witbeck vs Sean Johnson. The amateur portion of the card will feature a heavyweight title fight as well as a lightweight championship bout.
