We’re exactly a month away from Ohio Combat League 3, and the event now has a headliner.
Lightweight Jake Miller (4-1) is set to take on Jared Chauvin (3-0) in the marquee bout, BluegrassMMA has learned.
Grove City BJJ’s Miller competes for the first time since topping Carlos Garnett via arm bar submission in the first round at Iron Tiger 86 in March. The 26-year-old has earned all four of his wins via stoppage, and is ranked as the No. 3 pro lightweight in Ohio according to Tapology.
The unbeaten Chauvin makes his way from Michigan looking for his third win of the year. He also holds a 1-3 pro boxing record and is ranked as the No. 18 pro lightweight in Michigan.
The fight card also features a pair of amateur title bouts, including a lightweight contest between Josiah Harrell (5-0) and Ashton Kirby (7-0). Kirby travels from Arkansas to face the Grove City BJJ product Harrell.
Ohio Combat League 3 takes place on Oct. 4 at Express Live in Columbus, Ohio. The event streams live via FloCombat.
