Andrew Law v Aaron Highbaugh
A professional welterweight title bout featuring Andrew Law (11-4) has been added to this summer’s Honor FC 10: Fight Night Nautica 2 event. Law is slated to face Aaron Highbaugh (7-3) for the 170-pound crown.
A member of Canton’s Victory Fight Team, Law comes in riding a seven-fight winning streak, including two straight first round submission wins under the Honor banner. Most recently, it took him just 25 seconds to submit Reggie Merriweather with an arm bar at Honor FC 8 in March. He’s ranked as the No. 1 pro welterweight in Ohio according to Tapology.
Highbaugh comes in from Indianapolis ranked as the No. 5 pro welterweight in Indiana. After starting off his career 6-0, he snapped a three-fight losing streak in his last outing with a second round submission over Tavae Lewis at Colosseum Combat XLVII last November.
Fight Night Nautica 2 takes place on August 24 at Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland and also features a bantamweight title bout between Isaiah Chapman and Tobiaus Taylor.
A pro featherweight bout is also slated to go down between Dru Schottenheimer (3-5) and Jason Rine (1-4). Schottenheimer looks to snap a four fight losing streak while the Bellator veteran Rine fights for the first time in his home state since his amateur days in 2015.
