Camur is reportedly set to face Justin Ledet (9-2) as part of the preliminary card at UFC on ESPN+ 25 on Jan. 25 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Camur, who trains with Strong Style Fight Team alongside UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, makes his official UFC debut after earning a contract with a TKO win over Fabio Cherant at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series this past summer.
The 24-year-old has produced all five of his career wins via strikes, including wins under the Iron Tiger and Honor FC banners before going on DWTNCS. He also posted a 4-0 amateur record and is ranked as the No. 1 pro light heavyweight in Ohio according to Tapology.
Ledet, who hails from Texas, posted a 6-0 record before making his UFC debut at heavyweight in 2016. After three straight wins in that division over Chase Sherman, Mark Godbeer, and Azunna Anyanwu, he’s had a rough go since dropping down to light heavyweight with losses against Aleksandar Rakic and Johnny Walker over the past 18 months.
UFC on ESPN+ 25 is headlined by a heavyweight bout between Curtis Blaydes and former champion Junior Dos Santos. Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar is also on the card in his bantamweight debut against Cory Sandhagen.
The fight card also features Tennessee native Nate Landwehr making his UFC debut, as he faces Herbert Burns in a featherweight bout.
